Metal Power Open Air 2026: the metal festival in Wittstock, Germany
Metal Power Open Air takes place at Eventarena Heidering in Wittstock, Brandenburg. From May 14-16, this open-air festival celebrates metal in all its forms, from power metal to death metal, with an international lineup of 9 bands.
The 2026 edition highlights Germany's Serious Black for power metal, the Netherlands' Legion of the Damned for thrash metal, and the UK's Benediction, death metal legends. The Japanese scene is represented by Bridear.
The festival explores the boundaries of modern metal, from melodic death metal to alternative metal, with bands like Frantic Amber, All For Metal, and Dark Embrace. You'll also find touches of rockabilly with Hellcats and guitarist Frank Blackfire, illustrating the lineup's diversity.
