Neopop 2026: underground techno at the castle in Viana do Castelo
Neopop takes place in the historic Castelo Santiago da Barra in Viana do Castelo, in northern Portugal. This internationally recognised techno festival offers each edition a demanding programme centred on electronic, hip-hop and jazz.
The 2026 edition (5 to 7 August) brings together artists from the international techno scene: Helena Hauff, BEN KLOCK, ELLEN ALLIEN and Chris Liebing.
The programme focuses on alternative hip-hop, boom bap and conscious hip-hop, with a core of techno: acid techno, detroit techno, dub techno and downtempo. A specialist festival for purists.
From 5 to 7 August 2026 in Viana do Castelo, Neopop offers three nights of techno in a medieval castle. Book your tickets on the official website.
