Nummirock stands in 2026 as Finland's bastion of Nordic metal, celebrating the intensity of black metal, folk metal, and death metal. This mythical festival gathers Scandinavian legends and extreme metal's new forces in an uncompromising lineup.
Norwegian act Satyricon headlines with their legendary black 'n' roll, joined by Finnish Swallow the Sun with their melancholic death-doom metal. Moonsorrow enriches the experience with monumental folk metal epics rooted in Nordic mythology.
The lineup explores extreme territories with Battle Beast and their powerful hard rock, OMNIUM GATHERUM and their melodic blackened death metal. American act Uada embodies atmospheric black metal, while GAEREA brings visceral Portuguese intensity.
Between devastating riffs and epic atmospheres, Nummirock celebrates Scandinavian metal identity. RISE OF THE NORTHSTAR completes this eclectic lineup with their beatdown hardcore and crossover thrash fusion, dialoguing with Nordic doom metal traditions.

When does Nummirock 2026 take place?
The festival runs over the Finnish Midsummer (juhannus) weekend, from 17 to 20 June 2026. On-site accommodation is bookable for the whole event, from Wednesday 6:00 p.m. to Sunday 12:00 p.m.
Is camping available, and what options are there?
Yes, paid camping offers several areas: forest camping (metsäleirintä), lakeside camping (rantaleirintä) and field camping (peltoleirintä). Electric pitches (sähköpaikat) are available for caravans and motorhomes, plus a glamping option in luxury tents for two or four people, set up near the main gate.
Are there shared tents or cabins to stay in?
Single-sex shared tents (puolijoukkueteltta) — women-only or men-only — are pitched at the lakeside camping area. There are also small two- to three-person cabins, the Hevimaja: 45 units on the lakeside camping side, bookable only for the entire festival.
