Openair Frauenfeld 2026: Switzerland's premier hip-hop festival
Openair Frauenfeld is one of Europe's largest hip-hop festivals, held annually on the Grosse Allmend in Frauenfeld, in the canton of Thurgau, Switzerland. Since its early days, it has established itself as a must-attend event for rap fans and urban culture enthusiasts.
The 2026 edition (8 to 10 July) brings together 46 artists with a strong deutsch-rap and cloud rap focus. Among the most anticipated acts: SSIO, BHZ, KYBBA and OG KEEMO.
The programme centres on German-language rap, with alternative R&B and east coast hip-hop influences. Touches of glam rock, hard rock and dancehall round out the offer.
