Osheaga 2026: Canada's number-one festival returns to Parc Jean-Drapeau
Every summer since 2006, Île Sainte-Hélène turns into North America's capital of contemporary music. Founded by Nick Farkas and now promoted by Quebec's Evenko, Osheaga has become, per Wikipedia citing Pollstar, the #1 festival in Canada and the 11th worldwide — drawing close to 294,000 fans in 2024. From July 31 to August 2, 2026, it once again raises its stages in the leafy Parc Jean-Drapeau, facing the St. Lawrence River and the Montreal skyline.
The 2026 bill captures the eclecticism that defines it. Headlining, the duo Twenty One Pilots and New Zealand's Lorde share the top of the bill with electro collective Major Lazer and the return of The xx. The new wave is well represented too, with British rapper Little Simz, hardcore favourites Turnstile, plus Wet Leg, Zara Larsson and Franz Ferdinand.
Across three days and several stages, the programme sweeps the full spectrum of today's music: pop, indie, hip-hop, electronic and rock, true to a multi-genre DNA claimed since the first edition in 2006. Osheaga blends international headliners with emerging local talent, on a site famous for its atmosphere and its views over Montreal.
Mark the dates: July 31 to August 2, 2026 at Parc Jean-Drapeau, Montreal. Three-day passes and tickets via the official box office.
