Pitfest takes over Rugbyclub Emmen from June 4-6, 2026, to celebrate the extreme sounds of death metal and hardcore punk. With 23 artists, this underground festival cultivates a radical identity, favoring formations pushing the limits of sonic intensity. The event attracts an audience of enthusiasts experiencing three days of riffed onslaughts and uncompromising blast beats in Emmen's raw atmosphere.
Headliners bring together Dark Funeral for Swedish black metal, Gorilla Biscuits for legendary New York hardcore punk, and Midnight for black'n'roll. The lineup also includes SIX FEET UNDER, Autopsy, and VOIVOD for progressive thrash.
The musical palette explores goregrind, doom metal, technical thrash, melodic black metal, and death-doom, with touches of post-hardcore and metalcore.
