Solar Weekend 2026: four days of Dutch hip-hop and house at the Roermond Maasplassen lake, 29 July to 1 August
Solar Weekend takes place from 29 July to 1 August 2026 on the Maasplassen lakes near Roermond (Limburg, Netherlands), keeping the multi-genre formula that has made it one of the most attended Dutch open-air weekends. The festival programme is split between two pillars: a Dutch hip-hop pillar with the country's top-charting rappers, and a house / techno pillar curated by Dutch club promoters.
The Dutch hip-hop side is anchored by Lil Kleine, Bizzey, Bokoesam, Idaly, NOA and $hirak — together accounting for the bulk of Dutch streaming-chart positions in 2025-2026.
The dance side leans on the Dutch house circuit: Ferreck Dawn, Benny Rodrigues, Morgan Seatree and Prunk — with deep, melodic and tech-house programming spread across multiple lakeside stages.
