Le Sunnyside Festival revient à Reims du 6 au 11 octobre 2026 pour une nouvelle édition consacrée aux musiques afro-américaines sous toutes leurs formes. Porté par la coopérative Jazzus, l'événement investit plusieurs lieux emblématiques de la ville : l'Opéra de Reims, La Cartonnerie, Le Shed, Le Cellier et la Médiathèque Jean Falala. Au programme, une semaine de concerts mêlant jazz contemporain, soul, funk, afrobeat, hip-hop et house, portée par une programmation à la fois exigeante et accessible à un large public.
La tête d'affiche Fatoumata Diawara ouvre le bal à l'Opéra de Reims, avant que le saxophoniste Léon Phal ne présente son nouvel album « Bodies & Ideas », accompagné d'un DJ set de Marina Trench, à La Cartonnerie. La flûtiste Ludivine Issambourg y retrouvera quant à elle la légende Brian Jackson pour une soirée jazz-funk explosive aux côtés du collectif Jeroboam. Le Shed accueille notamment James Carter Quartet et Clément Janinet, complétant une affiche riche en rencontres et en découvertes musicales à travers toute la ville de Reims.
