Tonton 2026: rock and chanson festival in Isère, France
An annual gathering of the French alternative scene, the Tonton festival takes place every early June in Oytier-Saint-Oblas, a small village in Isère just a few kilometers from Lyon. This grassroots festival on a human scale cultivates conviviality and musical discovery, with a lineup focused on independent rock and chanson française.
The 2026 edition brings together 9 artists over two days of concerts. On the program: HK and Debout sur le Zinc for socially engaged chanson, The Buttshakers for funk and soul, plus 111 for post-punk.
The lineup also highlights discoveries from the independent scene, with offerings between alternative R&B, garage rock, and urban sounds. The festival atmosphere remains family-friendly, with on-site camping and a single outdoor stage.
