When is Twisterella and how long does it last?
Twisterella is a one-day, multi-venue festival held on Saturday 3 October 2026 in Middlesbrough, United Kingdom.
How many venues host the festival?
Three of the stages are inside Teesside University Students' Union (seconds apart), with a further stage in the Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt, a ten-minute walk away (five if you hot-foot it).
How does entry work and at what time?
Your ticket is exchanged for a wristband at the exchange point on the first-floor Welcome Desk of Teesside University Students' Union, open from noon to 9 p.m. The wristband grants access to all venues subject to capacity, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is there an age limit?
Yes, the event is for ages 14 and over, and ID may be requested (a "Challenge 25" policy applies to alcohol purchases).
Where can I eat?
Plenty of food options are available close to the venues, and Teesside Uni SU runs a food offer during the festival from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Are the venues accessible to people with disabilities?
All main venues have disabled access; for any specific needs, it is advised to contact the organisers in advance.

Twisterella launched in 2014 and has become Middlesbrough's award-winning multi-venue music festival, giving a platform to over 350 emerging artists.
