Wintefolk XXIV Blues and Roots Festival 2026: Toronto's blues celebration
Wintefolk is an intimate blues and roots music festival held at the Tranzac Club in Toronto. For over two decades, this winter event has celebrated North American musical traditions in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with multiple stages throughout this iconic neighborhood venue.
The 2026 edition brings together 16 artists across five February evenings, headlined by Shakura S'Aida, Suzie Vinnick, and Sultans of String. The lineup showcases both established and emerging Canadian talents from the blues and roots scene.
The festival explores the many facets of traditional and contemporary blues, with folk, gospel, and Americana influences. Festival-goers will discover artists like Harpin' Norm Lucien on harmonica and James Gordon with roots songwriting.
