Au Pont du Rock 2026: rock, pop and hip-hop in Malestroit
Au Pont du Rock is a summer festival rooted in the medieval town of Malestroit, in the Morbihan department of Brittany, France. Over two days, 17 artists present a generous programme mixing rock, pop, hip-hop and folk, in a riverside setting with a welcoming atmosphere.
The 2026 lineup features Morcheeba, Gaëtan Roussel, Oxmo Puccino, Superbus and Synapson, covering two decades of French and international pop rock.
The sound palette spans blues, French indie pop, nu disco, trip hop, indie rock and pop rock. Soul, deep house, punk rock and alternative rock enrich a festival with the feel of an intimate gathering for contemporary music fans.

What are the dates of the 2026 edition?
Au Pont du Rock takes place over two nights, on Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August 2026, at the espace Maurice Melois in Malestroit, Brittany. Gaëtan Roussel, John Butler, Oxmo Puccino, Synapson and Les Wampas play the Friday, with Morcheeba, Superbus, L'Entourloop and Georgio on the Saturday.
How do you pay on site?
A cashless wristband is the only accepted payment method, both in the concert area and at the campsite. You can top it up online before or during the festival, or at the cashless desks on site, which take cash and cards. Refunds of unused credit are requested from your account between 9am on 3 August 2026 and 11.59pm on 23 August 2026 — or you can donate the balance to the organising association, Aux Arts Etc.
Does the ticket include camping?
No, you need to pick a ticket with campsite access: the two-day pass costs 71 € with camping against 69 € without, and a single night 43 € against 41 €. The campsite opens on Friday 31 July at 2pm and closes on Sunday 2 August at midday, with toilets, a water point, showers on Saturday morning and a food stand. Vans, lorries and campervans are not admitted and a car park is provided 900 m away. Glass is strictly banned, as the pitches are used by local football clubs the rest of the year.
Is the festival accessible to disabled visitors?
Yes, and the organisers have been working on it since 2009. Reserved parking spaces sit less than 150 m from the entrance and require a disabled parking card or badge, with a dedicated gate nearby for fast access. A 30 m² raised viewing platform improves sightlines, adapted counters are provided at the bars, food stands and the Rockshop merchandise store, and accessible toilets are installed both on site and at the campsite. Companions get in free through a dedicated accessible box office.
Which station should I travel to by train?
Either Vannes, 2hr30 from Paris, then BreizhGo bus route 4 (Vannes – Malestroit – Ploërmel), or Redon, then BreizhGo bus route 12 (Redon – La Gacilly – Malestroit). The bus costs 2 € for under-26s and 2.50 € for everyone else, and extra services run throughout the festival weekend.
Up to what age is entry free?
Under-12s get in free on festival days and do not need a ticket. Meanwhile, 17- and 18-year-olds can book through the French Pass Culture app, with camping included in the offer.
What food and drink is available?
A range of bars and food stands operate inside the concert grounds, plus an additional food point at the campsite. Water is free on request at any bar. The festival has also swapped disposable plastic trays for recyclable containers and has provided dry toilets on site since 2006.
