When does Banana Festival 2026 take place?
The 6th edition of Banana Festival runs over two days, on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 July 2026, at the Théâtre de Verdure in Labenne (Landes region).
Where is the festival held and how do you get there?
The festival takes place at the Théâtre de Verdure in Labenne, a natural clearing in the heart of the Landes pine forest. The entrance is by the Town Hall square, in front of the church; the access path is signposted on site on the day. The venue is 5 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes from Bayonne and 2 hours from Bordeaux. It is wheelchair-accessible, with a ramp, platforms and accessible toilets.
How much do tickets and passes cost?
In advance sale: the 2-day pass is €45 (instead of €53 at the gate), the Friday pass (24 July) is €25 and the Saturday pass (25 July) is €25 (each instead of €29 at the gate). Tickets are sold online via HelloAsso (Enjoy Promotion association).
Is there food on site?
Yes. Four food trucks are on site, with local catering provided notably by Ferme D-vers. Picnic tables are also set up on the grounds, in the shade of the oaks and pines.
What is the line-up?
The eclectic 2026 line-up (rock, reggae, hip-hop, electro) spans the two days and features around ten artists, including Tracy de Sa, Ultra Vomit, She Who Burns, Lovaa, Neptune Grass, Nestaflex, Malaka, Skarra Mucci & Manudigital, Kalabass, Nuttea and Nova Sauvageonne. DJ sets take over between concerts on the main stage.
Are children allowed?
Yes, it is a family-friendly, kids friendly festival. Children under 10 get in free. The site is stroller-accessible, offers natural shaded areas, and kids have their own programme of activities (games, face-painting stands) plus free access to the nearby MACS cultural centre.
What year was the festival created?
Banana Festival started in 2019; the 2026 edition is the 6th. It is organised every summer by the Enjoy Promotion association, entirely by volunteers. The previous edition drew nearly 3,000 festival-goers and over 50 volunteers.
