In early December, the ski village of Saalbach in Austria's Salzburger Land hosts a winter festival that puts bands on stage against a backdrop of snowy peaks. The 12th edition runs from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 December 2026, and BERGFESTival grows by a day this time: for the first time, the opening moves forward to Thursday instead of Friday.
