Nova Rock 2026: Austrian rock giant
Since 2005, Nova Rock has reigned over Nickelsdorf as Austria's largest rock and metal festival. Set on the former military airport on the Hungarian border, this four-day event brings together 63 artists to celebrate all variations of modern heavy. With its monumental stages and gigantic campsite, Nova Rock embodies the European rock festival in its most spectacular version: pyrotechnics, international headliners and massive communion atmosphere.
The 2026 edition aligns a colossal lineup led by A PERFECT CIRCLE, ARCHITECTS, ALTER BRIDGE and A DAY TO REMEMBER. The festival embraces alternative rock, alternative metal, metalcore, hard rock and traditional heavy metal with the same intensity.
Nova Rock cultivates an inclusive identity: from melodic post-hardcore to crushing doom riffs, four stages host legends and discoveries. ALL TIME LOW, BAD OMENS, BLACK VEIL BRIDES and BREAKING BENJAMIN demonstrate the vitality of contemporary rock. Polished production, abundant catering and accessibility from Vienna make Nova Rock the major rock event in Central Europe.
