What time do the gates open?
Gates open at 5:00 pm on Thursday 9 July, then at 4:00 pm on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 July 2026. The box office opens as early as the Tuesday before the event.
How do I pay on site?
Country Boom is a cashless event: purchases are made with an RFID wristband linked to your bank card (Billfold system). Vendors don't accept cash and there are no ATMs on site, but a cash-loading station lets you add money to your wristband.
Is on-site camping available?
Yes, a campground is set up on site (20 × 40 ft primitive campsites). Check-in runs Tuesday to Friday and check-out is Sunday between 8 am and 2 pm. Curfew and generator shut-off are at 2 am; campers must be at least 18 unless accompanied by a parent. Showers are available for a fee.
Is there food on site?
Yes, handpicked food vendors from across the Midwest are on hand, with a wide range of drinks across the grounds. The VIP upgrade includes an air-conditioned dining tent.
Are shuttles available?
Yes, a free shuttle service runs to the festival from local high schools and Valley View Mall. The site is just minutes off the I-90 highway, near La Crosse, Wisconsin.
