Dia Libre Festival 2026: the punk rock festival in Monterrey
Created to celebrate the Mexican punk and alternative scene, Dia Libre Festival brings together fans of energetic and engaged sounds every year. The 2026 edition takes place on May 9th in Monterrey, Nuevo León state, at the Explanada Walmart Park site, featuring a lineup of 15 bands from Mexico and the United States.
On the menu: a solid dose of punk rock, emo, and hardcore punk, with headliners like Taking Back Sunday, PUP, and I See Stars, alongside The Menzingers.
The lineup also explores ska punk with Zebrahead and Save Ferris, post-hardcore, easycore, and even electronicore. Mexican local scenes are represented by Division Minuscula and Tolidos, ensuring a mix of veterans and discoveries.
