Festi'Zac 2026: reggae and rock in Ambazac
Festi'Zac is a community festival established in Ambazac, Haute-Vienne, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Over two days with a €29 ticket, it champions a programme that combines reggae and rock with a committed spirit.
The 2026 edition programmes 6 acts: Danakil, Les Wampas and Les P'tits Fils de Jeanine headline, joined by Drum.D, Ravage Club and Soa Bomba.
The musical selection covers reggae, alternative rock, punk-rock and power pop, with singer-songwriter touches. A stylistic diversity that gives the festival a festive and eclectic character.

When does Festi'Zac 2026 take place and how long does it last?
The 8th edition takes over the Domaine de Muret in Ambazac (87240) across two nights: Friday 11 September 2026 from 6pm to 2am, then Saturday 12 September from 3pm to 2am. Music therefore begins at 6pm on the Friday and as early as 3pm on the Saturday.
How many stages are there?
Two. The indoor Grande Scène, a 110 sq m stage with 2,300 festival-goers gathered under one roof, hosts the ticketed bill — Les Wampas, Danakil, Soa Bomba, Drum.D. The Village's covered outdoor stage is free to all and puts the spotlight on Nouvelle-Aquitaine discoveries, from Feelarsen to Jive Me.
Do you have to pay to camp?
No, camping is free and cannot be booked in advance, but it is limited to ticket holders on a first come, first served basis. Pitches open at 5pm on Friday or 3pm on Saturday and everyone must be packed up by Sunday noon. Water, toilets and showers (10am to noon) are on site, a separate area takes campervans and converted vans, and stoves, fires and sound systems are all banned.
How do you pay for drinks and food on site?
Cashless only. A prepaid NFC wristband acts as your wallet at every bar and stall, the craft market being the one exception, with a non-refundable 1 EUR activation fee. You can load credit online in advance and collect the wristband at the Préventes desk by the entrance; anything left over is refunded by bank transfer after the festival.
What is there to eat and drink?
A craft beer bar showcases brewers from the area, a second bar serving cocktails and soft drinks sits next to the children's area, and the food stall works with local, seasonal produce: burgers, andouillette, merguez, sausages and a vegetarian sandwich. Free drinking water points let you refill a flask of up to 50 cl, never in glass.
Are children welcome?
Yes, under the supervision of an adult. Entry is free up to and including age 11, though a free child ticket still needs booking through the festival box office. The Village runs a children's area with wooden games and colouring, festive face painting, a photo booth, and on Saturday at 3.30pm the musical tale Victor & le Ukulélé under the big tent, suitable from age 6. Ear defenders for young ears are handed out at the prevention stand.
How do you get there by train?
Ambazac station is served by TER trains on line 21 (Limoges – Châteauroux) and line 25 (Limoges – Guéret – Felletin – Montluçon). Allow roughly 25 minutes on foot from the station to the Domaine de Muret. Regional coach routes 203 and 230 also link Limoges to Ambazac.
Is the site accessible to visitors with reduced mobility?
Partly: the main paths are firm underfoot, but some zones remain grass or gravel. A raised platform is set aside for watching the Grande Scène, bookable through the box office since places there are limited. A blue-badge car park sits right by the entrance and requires the European parking card, adapted toilets are provided, and a companion is also granted easier access.
How many people turn up each day?
Organisers quote around 3,000 festival-goers per day. Treat the figure as approximate, since it does not strip out re-entries. Since 2018, Festi'Zac claims more than 15,000 attendees in total and over 90 bands programmed.
