Freak Valley Festival takes place from 4 to 6 June 2026 in Netphen, North Rhine-Westphalia. Despite its modest scale, Freak Valley has built one of the most respected programming reputations on the European doom and stoner-rock circuit: a tight 30-act bill, no overlapping stages, communal camping. The format is deliberately small — the festival explicitly markets itself on the « one stage, one tribe » experience that bigger metal festivals can't replicate.
The 2026 line-up confirms the niche focus: STONED JESUS (Ukrainian heavy psych), Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats (UK occult rock), Kylesa (US sludge), The Neptune Power Federation (Australian heavy rock), plus BB Blackdog, Handgemeng, Coltaine and Ratsalad — a typical Freak Valley mix where each band gets a 60-90 minute window.
