A cult event on the European underground heavy metal scene, Hell Over Hammaburg takes over Markthalle in Hamburg for two days of traditional metal and extreme sounds. This intimate venue has hosted for several years fans of doom, black metal, and old-school heavy metal.
On March 6 and 7, 2026, 13 bands ignite the stage for a weekend of classic metal and doom metal. Headliners include Night, Dolch, and Americans Christian Mistress.
The lineup explores black metal, psychedelic rock, and post-punk, featuring bands like Atlantean Kodex, Forteresse, Argus, and This Gift Is a Curse. Between epic doom, traditional heavy metal, and touches of progressive folk, the festival offers a deep dive into the most authentic currents of European metal.
