JAZZ À FOIX 2026
JAZZ À FOIX returns to Village Jazz from July 21 to 25, 2026 for five summer days entirely dedicated to jazz. This Ariège festival offers an intimate program highlighting vocal jazz, gypsy jazz and contemporary creations. For five days, the prefecture of Ariège vibrates to the sound of the finest jazz harmonies in the medieval setting of the Pyrenees, creating a unique atmosphere mixing historical heritage and musical modernity.
The 2026 program brings together six artists embodying the excellence of contemporary French jazz. Singer CYRILLE AIMÉE, rising figure of French vocal jazz with gypsy influences, promises a memorable concert. Saxophonist EMILE PARISIEN and his quartet will explore the territories of modern jazz with virtuosity and creativity. ARNAUD DOLMEN and NICOLAS GARDEL complete the instrumental dimension of this lineup.
The festival also welcomes the PIANOFORTE formation, who will offer programs mixing jazz and classical music in a refined chamber approach. This selection of artists guarantees five days of intimate concerts and authentic jazz emotions in the enchanting setting of Foix and its Pyrenean surroundings.
