Jazz'Alp 2026: jazz festival in Haute-Maurienne, France
A spring gathering for jazz lovers in the mountains, Jazz'Alp takes over the ski resort of Lans-le-Villard in Savoie every year for a week of intimate concerts in an Alpine setting. Created over twenty years ago, this grassroots festival emphasizes proximity between artists and audiences, with small-format concerts in atypical venues.
The 2026 edition features 10 musicians over eight days of programming, from March 6 to 14. On the program: Emmanuel Bex on Hammond organ, Pascal Billotet on guitar, Andy Barron, and pianist Alfio Origlio.
The lineup explores the edges of contemporary jazz and post-bop, with a focus on experimental formations and improvised music. The acoustics of mountain venues offer a unique listening experience, conducive to musical discoveries.
