When does the festival take place and how long does it run?
The 2026 edition runs from Wednesday June 10 to Saturday June 13, 2026 at Wagon Wheel Ridge in Karlstad, Minnesota — four days of live country music.
Is on-site camping available, and is it paid?
Yes. Camping at Wagon Wheel Ridge is fully reserved and just steps from the stage. Several paid options are offered (Backwoods with or without electrical, VIP with water and electrical hook-ups), and access to the shower house and restrooms is free. Every camper needs a camping wristband in addition to a music ticket.
What time do the gates open?
In the campground, gates are open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with no entry outside those hours without a wristband. For the concert area, gates open at 10:00 AM and close after 11:00 PM.
How do I pay for food and drinks on site?
Food vendors accept cash, while alcoholic beverages can only be bought with drink tickets purchased on site. ATMs are placed around the grounds for easy cash access.

Kick'n Up Kountry has been bringing country headliners to the stage for over 20 years and bills itself as the Midwest's top music festival.
