A spring gathering of the blues scene in Haute-Savoie, Lac in Blue takes over the lakeside city of Annecy every early April. Created about fifteen years ago, this five-day festival offers an eclectic lineup around blues and its derivatives, from African desert blues to American rock.
The 2026 edition features 6 artists from March 31 to April 4. Headliner: Tuareg guitarist Bombino for Mandingue desert blues, alongside trumpeter Stéphane Belmondo for jazz blues, and Jean Gobinet.
The lineup explores the roots of American blues and its hybridizations with world music, between tradition and modernity. Concerts take place in several city venues, offering an intimate atmosphere conducive to musical discovery.
