Le Guess Who? 2026 "Listening is the Way Forward": four days of discovery across central Utrecht
For close to twenty years, Le Guess Who? has turned Utrecht, in the Netherlands, into a meeting point for adventurous music. This year's motto asks the audience to lend an ear. From Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November, more than 150 acts perform in a wide mix of spaces, from pop halls and churches to theatres, clubs, galleries and warehouses, nearly all of them a short walk apart. TivoliVredenburg and its rooms (Grote Zaal, Ronda, Pandora, Cloud Nine, Hertz) anchor the route, alongside EKKO and De Helling. In 2025, festivalgoers travelled in from 52 countries.
Among the guests shaping a programme of their own: aja monet, Tropical Fuck Storm, Los Thuthanaka, KMRU (WAI8) and WAS. Alongside them sit 24 HOUR DUB, a Sounds of Cabo Verde focus, totally wired and a Sound & Culture Summit built around talks and workshops.
Thursday brings Tortoise, aja monet, Alsarah & The Nubatones and Ana Roxanne. Friday lines up A.R. Kane, SHABAKA, Horse Lords, King Ayisoba and goat (JP), over from Japan. Saturday turns to Grouper, Kelsey Lu, Bill Orcutt, Deradoorian, The Bug with Warrior Queen and Scientist. On Sunday, Dirty Three, Juana Molina, Etran de L'Aïr and KMRU close things out. From jazz to dub by way of electronic music, the full bill is now out.
Three ticket types are on offer: 4-Day Pass, Day Pass or Venue Pass, sold by CM.com alone; resale only goes through TicketSwap, capped at the price you paid. Tickets can be downloaded two days ahead, and CJP and U-pas holders get a discount. Wristbands are swapped at TivoliVredenburg between noon and midnight. The festival is not advised for children under 8, under-14s need a parent with them, and WAS. (21+) and KABUL à GoGo (18+) set their own age limits. From Schiphol, a direct train reaches Utrecht in about half an hour, leaving every quarter of an hour. On 7 and 8 November, U? runs a free programme from the Cartesius district, while COSMOS extends the listening through mixtapes, films, radio and meetups.
