📋About
Nature One 2026: a techno high mass on a former missile base
Few festivals can claim a setting this singular. Since 1996, Nature One has taken over the Raketenbasis Pydna, a decommissioned US missile base near Kastellaun, Germany, every year. Founded in 1995, it has become, according to Wikipedia, one of Europe's largest open-air electronic music festivals: 50,000 to 72,000 attendees (a record 72,000 in 2014) spread across four main stages and close to twenty club floors. The 2026 edition runs from 30 July to 2 August.
The programme draws on the full breadth of German and international electronic music. It features the legendary Fatboy Slim, Berlin master Paul Kalkbrenner, Frankfurt techno godfather Sven Väth, alongside the hardcore of Angerfist and the hard techno of I Hate Models.
True to its extraordinary site, Nature One unfolds techno, trance, minimal and hardcore across 100,000 m² of grounds and more than a square kilometre of camping. A long weekend of near non-stop raving, traditionally the first of August.
See you from 30 July to 2 August 2026 at Raketenbasis Pydna, Kastellaun (Germany). Tickets via the official box office.
