📋About
Nomade Reggae Festival 2026: roots reggae and dub at Mansin lake
Nomade Reggae Festival is a festival specialising in reggae and Jamaican music, held at the Mansin lake near Brive-la-Gaillarde, in the Corrèze department of France. In a single day, 12 artists deliver an outdoor programme of roots reggae and dub by the lakeside.
The 2026 edition is headlined by Groundation, joined by Alpha Blondy, Jah Mason and Dub Silence, a lineup entirely devoted to Jamaican roots.
The Nomade Reggae Festival programme is deliberately specialised: reggae, jazz, dub and roots reggae form its core. Fans of R&B and roots music will appreciate this coherent, focused selection.

❓FAQ
When is the 11th edition held?
From 30 July to 2 August 2026: four days of reggae beside the Mansin lake in Anglefort, eastern France, at the foot of the Grand Colombier mountain. The festival is run by the Mélodies du Monde association, which puts part of the proceeds towards building a health and literacy centre in the rural community of Sanankoroba, Mali.
How many stages are on site?
Sets by international and local artists (Alpha Blondy, Groundation, Anthony B, Jah 9, Admiral T and more) sit alongside four sound system stages, with this edition shining a light on the reggae, dub and sound system scene of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
How does camping work?
The camping pass is per person: €20 in advance, €25 on the gate, free for under-12s, and it must be bought on top of a festival ticket. The campsite sits on chemin de Mansin, 01350 Anglefort, right next to the festival grounds; it opens on Thursday 30 July at 10:00 and must be cleared by 10:00 on Monday 3 August. Only converted vans and small to medium motorhomes are allowed in, and only if they arrive on the Thursday between 10:00 and 15:00 — after that they are sent to the car park. Cars, large trucks, trailers, motorbikes, glass, powerful sound systems, gas stoves, fires and pets stay outside, and alcohol is banned in the campsite, where only water, sandwiches and snacks are tolerated.
What time do doors open?
The ticketing page gives 18:00 for the opening of the site, activities and food stalls, while the Pass Culture page says 17:30. Before that, the chill-out area welcomes festival-goers from 10:00 to 17:00, and music is not allowed in the campsite during the concerts or after 20:00.
Is there food on site?
Yes. Trader and catering stands are spread across the festival grounds and can also be found in the campsite and the chill-out area. Drink tokens can be pre-ordered online before you travel.
Which station is nearest, and is there a shuttle?
Culoz station (SNCF), 8.5 km away at 87 place Pierre Semard, is linked to the festival by a shuttle. Then come Vions-Chanaz (10.3 km), Bellegarde (21.6 km) and Annecy (24.2 km). Anglefort is 45 minutes from Annecy and Geneva, 54 minutes from Chambéry, 1 hr 24 from Grenoble and 1 hr 30 from Lyon. A large free car park borders the site for cars and motorhomes, and a car-sharing group runs on BlaBlaCar and Facebook.
Do children pay to get in?
Entry is free for under-12s, for the festival ticket as well as the camping pass. Fans aged 15 to 18 can book through the French Pass Culture scheme, including a duo option that lets them bring along anyone they like, whatever their age.
