Nuits de Champagne 2026: French chanson and pop in Troyes
Nuits de Champagne is a French-language music and variety festival held each autumn in Troyes, in the Aube department of the Champagne region. For several decades it has gathered the leading voices of chanson française and French pop. The 2026 edition hosts 21 artists over a week, with tickets between €39 and €51.20.
The 2026 lineup is led by Laurent Voulzy, Benjamin Biolay, Mentissa and 47Ter, spanning classic chanson, rap and nu disco.
The programme combines chanson à texte, chanson française, hip-hop, nu disco, jazz pop, Brazilian MPB and Liedermacher. Indie folk, deep house and folk rock sub-genres round out a varied offer reflecting the evolution of contemporary French-speaking music.

The 39th. The festival was founded in Troyes in 1988 by the city, the Aube département and the former Champagne-Ardenne region, and since 1993 it has focused on French chanson and the craft of the singer-songwriter.
When is the festival?
From Saturday 17 to Saturday 24 October 2026: 8 days and 47 concerts. The Grand Choral "Sauver l'amour", a tribute to Daniel Balavoine led by Nach and Youssoupha, closes the week with three performances, on Friday 23 at 9pm and Saturday 24 at 4pm and 9pm.
How many venues host concerts?
Thirteen venues across Troyes and its suburbs, including Espace Argence, Théâtre de Champagne, Chapelle Argence, Le Cube, Théâtre de la Madeleine, L'Art Déco in Sainte-Savine and Espace Gérard Philipe in Saint-André-les-Vergers. The OFF OFF OFF fringe adds around fifteen gigs in local bars.
Can I get there by train?
Yes: the festival venues are about a 15-minute walk from Troyes station. They are clustered in the city centre, so walking or cycling between them is easy.

Is the festival suitable for children?
Ear defenders for children are handed out at venue entrances. The family show Smartville, at Espace Gérard Philipe, includes a morning song workshop (10am to 12:30pm) ahead of the 6:30pm concert, and the Chœur des Nuits runs parent-and-child singing sessions on 20 and 22 October at 2:30pm.
