From 16 to 18 April 2027, Old Settler’s Music Festival celebrates its fortieth edition in Driftwood, Texas, in the Hill Country near Austin. It began in 1987 as a single day of bluegrass and has since grown into a multi-day event with a reputation across the United States. It is still run by a non-profit that relies almost entirely on volunteers and belongs to the Central Texas Bluegrass Association.
