Release Festival 2026: Pop, Rock and Electronic in Athens
Release Festival is one of the major contemporary music events in Athens, Greece, held at Plateía Neroú, a large open-air venue by the water. The programming blends rock, pop, electronic and hip-hop for a diverse audience.
The 2026 edition brings together 17 artists led by headliners MOBY and Garbage, alongside Twenty One Pilots, Kings of Leon and Halsey.
The musical palette spans alternative dance and pop rock to industrial rock, techno, art pop and singer-songwriter. Fans of noise pop and alternative hip-hop will also find plenty to enjoy.
