Sea Star Festival 2026: Techno and House by the Croatian Sea
Sea Star Festival returns in 2026 to Stella Maris Complex, Croatia, for a new edition of this electronic festival by the Adriatic. Held in Umag, on the Istrian coast, Sea Star offers a unique festival experience blending electronic music, Mediterranean beaches, and summer vibes. The festival, launched in 2017 as an extension of the famous Serbian EXIT Festival, has established itself as an essential gathering for the techno and house scene in Southeast Europe.
The 2026 lineup features Boris Brejcha, German star of melodic techno and high-tech minimal. The lineup also includes local and regional artists representing the Croatian and Balkan electronic scene, with tech house, minimal techno, and trance sounds. This programming reflects the festival's Mediterranean identity, between international influences and local talents.
Musically, Sea Star explores the sunny facets of electro: techno and melodic techno for hypnotic atmospheres, house and tech house for dancing grooves, minimal techno for refined beats, trance for emotional build-ups. The seaside setting of Stella Maris Complex, with its beaches and Adriatic sunsets, adds a unique dimension to the festival experience, where music blends with the turquoise Mediterranean waters.
