When does it run and what do tickets cost?
Three days at Piedmont Park, in the heart of downtown Atlanta, from Friday September 18 to Sunday September 20, 2026. Listed prices start at $175 for the Friday single day, $195 for Saturday or Sunday and $375 for the 3-day general admission pass. The 2026 edition is sold out, leaving verified resale and the waitlist.
How do you pay on site?
With your wristband, cashless. You activate the wristband online, link a credit or debit card and set a PIN; at the vendor you tap your wrist and enter that PIN. A lost or over-tightened wristband is replaced for $20, and the first 2,000 people who link a Chase card get a $10 cashless credit.
What is there to eat?
Dozens of food trucks and stands, from southern BBQ to vegetarian-friendly corn dogs: Lewis Barbecue, Hattie B's, Tacos 1986, Dragon Banh Mi, Pho Cue, King of Pops, Freewheelin Pizzeria and more. The DoorDash Food Village alone gathers eight Atlanta restaurants around a shaded seating area.
Do kids need a ticket?
On GA+ and VIP tickets, children aged 8 and under get in free with a ticketed adult. On Platinum the free age drops to 2: ages 3 to 8 need a Platinum Kids ticket, and from 9 a full Platinum ticket. In the bungalows and the Ultimate package, every guest pays regardless of age.
Is the site wheelchair accessible?
Yes. There is an Access Center, accessible viewing areas, accessible festival entrances, accessibility wristbands and dedicated ADA parking and entry.
How long has Shaky Knees been going?
Since 2013. The festival books more than 60 bands a year, mixing world-renowned headliners with up-and-coming acts, and extends the weekend with late night shows in Atlanta venues (Masquerade, Center Stage, Terminal West, The Earl), doors at 11pm.
