Sonic Temple 2026: metal and rock festival in Columbus, Ohio
The Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival gathers heavy music fans each year at the Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. The successor to Rock on the Range, this outdoor event has grown into one of the largest rock and metal gatherings in the United States, combining concerts, art and alternative culture across four days.
The 2026 edition features 147 artists led by metal and rock. Headliners Tool, My Chemical Romance, Bring Me The Horizon and Shinedown lead a bill that also embraces hip-hop and pop.
The programme delves into metalcore, nu metal, thrash metal, deathcore and post-hardcore, alongside pop punk, hard rock and grunge. Acts like Megadeth and Lamb of God sit alongside emo pop and punk rock outfits.
