Sounds of the City is a summer festival that takes over Castlefield Bowl, an open-air amphitheatre in the heart of Manchester, United Kingdom. Each summer it hosts a programme of contemporary British pop and rock across multiple evenings.
The 2026 edition programmes 4 artists: The Streets, an iconic figure in alternative dance and street rap, alongside Everything Everything, Johnny Marr and The K's.
The programme explores alternative dance, art pop and progressive pop, with touches of math rock, indietronica and art rock. A showcase highlighting the creativity of the British pop-rock scene.
