Targhee Fest 2026: the americana festival in Alta, Wyoming

Held at Grand Targhee Resort at the foot of the Teton Range in Wyoming, Targhee Fest has celebrated since its inception the meeting between americana, folk and jam band music in a spectacular mountain setting. On July 10-11, 2026, this two-day festival attracts thousands of festival-goers for a celebration of American roots music at 9,000 feet elevation, with views of the western American mountains.

The 2026 edition brings together 9 artists with three renowned headliners. Charley Crockett embodies the revival of traditional Texas country, while Ryan Bingham explores the territories of alternative country and folk-rock. The Wood Brothers complete the lineup with their acoustic americana imbued with blues and jazz.

The programming celebrates the richness of contemporary American folk. Larkin Poe brings southern blues rock, Lukas Nelson continues his father's country legacy, while The Marcus King Band and JJ Grey & Mofro explore fusions between jam band, soul and swamp rock. Neal Francis adds a touch of psychedelic piano rock.
