📋About
Verknipt Croatia 2026: Dutch techno on Zrce Beach
On the mythical Zrce Beach on the island of Pag, Verknipt Croatia exports the best of the Dutch techno scene each summer under the Adriatic sun. Born in Utrecht, the Verknipt collective is known for its demanding underground nights; in Croatia, it recreates that spirit in a spectacular natural setting that blends pure techno with a summer holiday atmosphere.
The 2026 programme stays true to the Verknipt identity: DJs drawn from the European underground circuit, including Fantasm, HADES and SHLØMO, a master of French minimal techno. Nicolas Julian and VIEZE ASBAK represent the Dutch scene at its most authentic and intense.
Verknipt Croatia stands out for a resolutely focused sonic identity: house in its darkest forms, underground dance and italo-disco sit alongside Berlin techno and breakbeat. Disco house and acid house ensure fluidity between sets, creating a continuous sonic journey from start to finish.
Verknipt Croatia represents the ideal alliance between Dutch techno scene rigour and the freedom of Adriatic beach festivals. Spanning an exceptional duration — 5 June to 15 July — it offers a series of events that transform Zrće Beach into one of summer's essential techno destinations in Europe, with 47 artists selected for their artistic coherence.
