❓FAQ
How many stages, and which ones?
Four: the Main Stage and the Trading Post Stage inside the concert bowl, the Country Club Stage with its own sets between Main Stage acts, and the Barn Stage, which hosts Wednesday's opening night.
What are the 2026 dates?
Concerts run from 6 to 8 August 2026, three nights in all, preceded by the Kickoff Party at the Barn Stage on Wednesday 5 August, 6:30 pm to 1 am.
What time do gates open?
Concert bowl gates open at 2 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with music through midnight and an after-hours DJ set at the Trading Post Stage. The West, East and VIP windows sell new tickets from noon to 10 pm on those days; will call orders are collected only at the Outpost Box Office.
Does the ticket include camping?
No. Every camper needs three separate purchases: a campsite, a Camp Access wristband and an admission ticket. Soo Pass Ranch spreads over 400 acres shared between the VIP, Lake Sallie, Northwoods, Oatfield, Blue Ox and Viking campgrounds, with free showers and bathrooms; most sites measure about 1,000 sq ft and the walk to the bowl ranges from 5 to 30 minutes.
What food is available?
Around twenty vendors are scattered through the bowl and the East Mall: BBQ Cabin for ribs and pulled pork, Beach Bums Eatery for sushi and bowls, Coyote Grill for cheese curds, veggie dogs at the Chicago-style hot dog stand, and gluten-free options flagged at many stalls. The Wrap Shack serves hot grab-and-go food near the Lake Sallie showers. Outside food and drink are not permitted in the concert bowl.
From what age is a ticket needed?
Children aged 5 and under get in without an admission ticket or campground pass provided a guardian is with them; from age 6 the full price applies to both entry and camping. The event is primarily 18+, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Is the site accessible?
The ranch is open rural ground with uneven surfaces and long walking distances, but Friends of WE Fest operate a golf cart shuttle with fixed pickup points: the accessible parking area, the VIP Gate, the Accessible Gate on the northwest side of the bowl, and the accessible camping areas at Lake Sallie and Northwoods. Motorised wheelchairs and three- or four-wheeled scooters are welcome, and a disability placard or plate is required for accessible parking and camping.
How do you pay on site?
Everything runs through the RFID wristband mailed out ahead of the festival, either linked to a card or loaded with cash. Unspent cash is returned before 8 pm at the tent where you loaded it, or on Sunday between 10 am and 1 pm at the Employee Check-in next to the Ranch House.
Are there shuttles?
Several. The DL Shuttle Bus links the Becker County Fairgrounds in Detroit Lakes to the West Gate every 20 minutes, noon to 2 am Thursday through Saturday — free with a camping wristband, and parking at the Fairgrounds is free too. A free shuttle also runs to the West Gate from Hilltop Parking, the only authorised drop-off point.
