Wimfest/Winter in Maussane takes over the Salle Agora in Maussane-les-Alpilles for two days dedicated to British rock and indie. This Provence festival cultivates a marked Anglo-Saxon identity, celebrating British rock sonorities from the 1980s to today. With 8 programmed artists, the event offers immersion in the independent and alternative rock universe.
The 2026 lineup brings together British rock figures. Headliner Peter Doherty, English alternative rock icon, tops the bill alongside After Geography and Neurotic Strangers. The festival also welcomes Hugh Cornwell, Stranglers co-founder, and The Inspector Cluzo.
Musically, the festival explores alternative British rock territories. From power pop to classic rock, passing through indie pop and post-punk sonorities, the programming celebrates British scene heritage. An experience where jangly guitars meet melancholic melodies and garage rock energy.
