Aftershock 2026: four days of rock and metal in Sacramento
California's biggest rock gathering, Aftershock started in 2012 and has made Discovery Park in Sacramento its home. Run by Danny Wimmer Presents, the US rock-festival specialist, it drew an estimated 160,000 fans in 2022 and now stretches across four days, from 1 to 4 October 2026.
The 2026 bill hits hard. Headlining, punk-rock veterans The Offspring and nu-metal kings Limp Bizkit share the bill with rap icons Cypress Hill, the metalcore of A Day To Remember and the symphonic metal of Apocalyptica. Also on site: P.O.D., The Pretty Reckless, Black Label Society, Cradle of Filth and Suicidal Tendencies.
True to its reputation, Aftershock concentrates rock, metal and punk across several stages, from legends to the wild cards of today's heavy scene.
