Awakenings Festival 2026: the Dutch temple of pure techno
The absolute reference for global techno, Awakenings Festival transforms the Beekse Bergen site in the Netherlands into a cathedral of minimal electronic music each summer. From July 10 to 12, 2026, this three-day marathon brings together 39 artists across multiple stages, embodying the excellence of European techno culture. Far from EDM spectacle, Awakenings cultivates sonic purity, repetitive hypnosis, and uncompromising rhythmic intensity.
The 2026 edition features pillars of the international scene: Adam Beyer, founder of Drumcode label and peak time techno reference, Charlotte de Witte with her radical industrial techno, and Amelie Lens with her hypnotic percussive techno. Legends Richie Hawtin, Reinier Zonneveld, Nina Kraviz, and Joris Voorn embody different schools of contemporary techno.
The festival celebrates the entire techno spectrum: detroit techno, dub techno, hard techno, melodic techno, and minimal techno. Touches of deep house, melodic house, and drum & bass complete a program that places sonic excellence at the summit.
