📋About
❓FAQ
How many stages does the festival run?
Five performance spaces. The Chevrolet Stage is the main stage; the Horizon Stage, inside the Marketplace Tradeshow building, hosts the Youth Talent Showcase and hypnotist Corrie J; the Coors Original Saloon holds Thursday's Kickoff Party and every late night after the main stage fireworks; the Cook County Saloon across from the Tradeshow lines up karaoke, the Dueling Piano Kings and DJ sets; and the Songwriters Showcase sits on Main Street.
Is camping paid, and how is it organised?
Paid, and conditional: a full weekend pass is required before you can buy a site, and camping cannot be bought by the night. Every site is primitive with no services, measuring 20 x 40 feet (30 x 50 for oversized ones), with parking for one vehicle per site and the option of a second vehicle pass. The real deciding factor is the quiet time: 2am in Country Nation, midnight in Heartland, Legends and Legacy.
From what age do children pay?
On the 3-day general admission pass, kids aged 10 and under get in free with a ticketed adult. In the seated and front-of-stage areas — Standing Pit, VIP, Reserved and Reserved Plus — every fan over the age of 2 needs their own ticket. Both saloons are strictly off limits to minors.
Are there shuttles from Camrose?
Yes: buses loop every 15 minutes between the Encana Arena and Duggan Mall in Camrose. Thursday from 1pm to 3am, then Friday to Sunday from 10am to 3am.
Which opening times should you know?
Day parking opens at 9am and must be cleared by 2.30am. The Marketplace Tradeshow welcomes visitors noon-7.30pm on Thursday, then 10am-7.30pm Friday to Sunday. Bulls for Breakfast starts at 2pm on Thursday and 10am the other days; Cook County Saloon karaoke runs 4pm-7pm on Thursday and 2pm-7pm on Friday and Saturday, with the final on Sunday 4pm-6pm, ahead of the Dueling Piano Kings at 7.30pm and the DJ dance party from 9.30pm.
What is there to eat on site?
Two food moments are documented: the breakfast served during Bulls for Breakfast, south of the Marketplace Tradeshow building and provided by the Camrose Regional Exhibition and the Camrose Boys & Girls Club; and, for VIP seat holders, a catered lunch and supper inside the VIP tent, which has its own bar and lounge.
What about fans needing accessible options?
Accessible camping exists but cannot be booked online: call 1.888.404.1234. Any other accommodation request should be sent ahead of the festival to [email protected].
How long has the Jamboree been running?
The line-up archive published by the festival goes back at least to 2003 — Alan Jackson that year, Brad Paisley and Reba McEntire in 2004, Carrie Underwood and Blake Shelton in 2016 — and its karaoke contest, the Voice of BVJ, has been surfacing new talent for more than two decades, including Mat Cardinal and Candice Ryan.
What are the 2026 dates?
30 July to 2 August 2026 at the Camrose Regional Exhibition Grounds in Alberta: four days, with Thursday night given to the CISN Country Kickoff Party, which needs a separate ticket. The 3-day general admission pass is sold in tiers, from $300 to $400.
