Bourbon & Beyond 2026: four days of rock, country and bourbon in the heart of Kentucky
From 24 to 27 September 2026, the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville hosts what bills itself as the world's largest bourbon and music festival. The premise is simple: a stadium-grade line-up bolted onto the distilling culture of the state that makes almost all of America's bourbon.
A bill with four heads
The official site announces four nights led by Foo Fighters, Mumford & Sons, Chris Stapleton and Dave Matthews Band. Around them, Queens of the Stone Age, Kacey Musgraves, The Red Clay Strays and Hootie & the Blowfish stretch the bill from country to rock by way of alternative rock.
What happens when the music stops
The non-musical half is not set dressing: the official programme lists a "Grill and Thrill" cooking session with chef Tom Jackson, a "Comedy and Craftsmanship" conversation with comedian Jim Gaffigan, and a "Battle of the Strings" contest. Camping passes and hotel-plus-ticket bundles are sold through festival partners, with instalment payment options.
