Brick Lane Jazz Festival: The Jazz Heart of London's East End
On April 26, 2026, Brick Lane Jazz Festival takes over the multicultural East End neighborhood for a full day dedicated to contemporary jazz, broken beat, boom bap and contemporary R&B. This free festival brings together over 60 artists in the neighborhood's streets, cafes and venues, celebrating the cultural diversity and creative energy that made Brick Lane famous.
The 2026 lineup honors innovative jazz musicians and urban fusions: Bibi Tanga & The Selenites, Parisian Afro-futurist collective, A Grime Supreme, project fusing grime and jazz, and Bad Influence. Also featured are Aby Coulibaly, Amanda Whiting, virtuoso guitarist, and Benji "Chief" Appiah for acoustic and electric performances.
Genres cross modern jazz boundaries: from downtempo to chillwave, including electro and easy listening. Artists like Alexander Flood, Alici, Another Taste and Arjuna Oakes embody this blended creativity.
