📋About
Corrosion Fest 2026: darkwave and coldwave at Alhambra Theatre, United Kingdom
A gathering of British dark cultures, Corrosion Fest transforms the **Alhambra Theatre** in March to celebrate darkwave and coldwave. This two-day festival honours gothic and post-punk aesthetics in a historic theatre, creating a unique theatrical and nocturnal atmosphere.
The 2026 edition brings together 8 artists around dark and synthetic sounds. TRAITRS, DARKWAYS and Motel Transylvania embody contemporary coldwave, blending icy synthesisers and spectral vocals.
The palette explores post-punk, atmospheric black metal, horror punk and psychobilly, between hypnotic basslines and synthetic textures. Atmospheric black metal and darkwave merge in a programme that spans four decades of dark currents.
On March 20 and 21, 2026, the Alhambra Theatre becomes the sanctuary of British darkwave. Dive into this nocturnal programme and let yourself be enveloped by sonic darkness.
