Country Thunder Alberta is one of Western Canada's major country festivals. Held at the Burnswest Theatre in The Confluence neighborhood of Calgary, this three-day event brings together 8 artists from the North American contemporary country scene, in a festive and family-friendly atmosphere in the heart of Alberta.
The 2026 edition features a top-tier contemporary country lineup. Among the headliners: Lainey Wilson, new star of the genre, Red Clay Strays, roots-country phenomenon, and Tyler Hubbard, former member of Florida Georgia Line.
The programming explores modern facets of country with touches of country rock and pop. Festival-goers will also discover Ian Munsick, rising talent from Wyoming, and Mark Chesnutt, genre veteran.
