Deathcore

Deathcore: 43 upcoming festivals, including 17 with tickets on sale.

Deathcore is a brutal fusion characterized by death metal's aggressive riffing and guttural vocals combined with metalcore and hardcore punk's signature breakdowns and screams, creating a heavy, often chaotic soundscape. This genre emerged and gained initial popularity in the American Southwest, particularly Arizona and Southern California, blending the intensity of death metal with the rhythmic punch of metalcore and hardcore. Iconic artists like Suicide Silence, Whitechapel, and Carnifex exemplify its crushing sound. Its raw energy and technicality have carved a distinct niche within extreme metal.
