From July 16-19, 2026, Areál Likérky Jelínek hosts Masters of Rock Festival, the essential gathering for power metal and symphonic metal in the Czech Republic. When does the festival take place and how long does it last?
Masters of Rock 2026 runs from 16 to 19 July 2026 in Vizovice, on the grounds of the R. Jelínek distillery. Four days and nights of metal, right up to midnight on Sunday 19 July.

It is the 22nd edition of this international metal festival, one of the largest in the Czech Republic.
What time do the gates open?
The festival grounds open on Thursday at 11:00 and the programme starts at 12:00. The first arrivals traditionally receive the festival compilation CD. Tickets can be exchanged for a wristband from Wednesday 15 July, between 12:00 and 21:00.
How do payments work?
Each festival-goer exchanges their ticket for a chip wristband, which then needs to be topped up; all on-site purchases are paid with this cashless wristband.
What is the main stage?
The main stage is named the Ronnie James Dio Stage.
How do I reach the site?
The grounds have two entrances: one by the R. Jelínek distillery shop, the other by the Vizovice train station.
