Gent Jazz Festival 2026: Jazz, Blues and Folk in Ghent
The Gent Jazz Festival is one of the premier events on the European jazz scene. Set in the verdant surroundings of De Bijloke in Ghent, this Belgian festival brings together internationally renowned artists each summer for over two weeks of concerts exploring jazz and its many branches, from free jazz to folk and blues.
The 2026 edition boasts an exceptional lineup with Van Morrison, Patti Smith and Suzanne Vega. Contemporary jazz is driven by Ravi Coltrane, Terence Blanchard and Samara Joy.
From rock to blues, through pop and folk, 28 artists traverse genres. Asaf Avidan, Fatoumata Diawara and Tamino embody the festival''s artistic openness spanning singer-songwriter, world music and art pop.
