What time do the gates open?
Festival gates open from 5.30pm each evening. Coming early lets you wander the palace grounds and enjoy a picnic on the lawns before the show.
How many seats are there per night?
Each evening takes place in the intimate surrounds of the historic Base Court, with just 3,000 seats available. All performances are seated.
What dates does the festival run?
The Hampton Court Palace Festival 2026 runs from 10 to 20 June, with a different headliner each night (David Gray, OMD, Pete Tong Ibiza Classics, The Stranglers, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Elvis Costello, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and 80s Classical).
Is there food and drink on site?
Yes. Options range from street food by the capital's best traders to luxury 'Best of British' picnics, plus bars serving craft beer, cocktails and champagne. VIP dining experiences in the State Apartments are also available. See the official site for details.
