Mad Cool 2026: four days of rock and pop in the heart of Madrid
In less than a decade, Mad Cool has become, according to Wikipedia, one of Spain's most important festivals. Created in 2015 and launched in 2016, every July it gathers more than 180,000 fans over four days (2025 edition) at Espacio Iberdrola Music in the Villaverde district of southern Madrid. The 2026 edition runs from 8 to 11 July.
The line-up pairs global headliners with rock icons. The duo Twenty One Pilots, the Foo Fighters and Kings of Leon share the bill with Halsey and Florence + The Machine, alongside alternative legends Pixies, Lorde, Moby, Kasabian and Interpol.
True to its DNA, the festival sweeps rock, indie, pop and electronic music across several stages, in an urban format easily reached from central Madrid.
